Analysis of sound in thrillers

One of the main factors that appears in most thriller films is sound. The sound helps set the mood of the scene and plays with the audience’s emotions. The sound can tell part of the story even if the nothing was being shown on the screen, it can make you feel scared, nervous or excited. Sometimes even there can be no sound and can be completely silent, this also sets the mood of the scene. The timing of the sound sets the pace of the scene and adds tension to the scene.

Here shows someone holding a gun, the music was fast and loud. This keeps the audience engaged.
