Makeup for thriller.

Makeup for Thriller.

For the thriller we are creating there will be two makeup looks, one of which will be a natural look. This looks represents innocence of the character and the harmless nature of the character. The makeup will include subtle eye makeup, I shall use only mascara on the eyes and little face makeup, and this will include a small amount of foundation and blusher. This will represent her to look innocent to the audience.

The other makeup look I will recreate will be a very gothic look. This will include heave dark eyes, very pale skin and dark lips. I will use matte dark eye shadows and make the skin look matte. The aim is to make her look as unnatural and frightening. The darkness of the eyes makes in one looks and the subtleness of the first looks show a strong contrast from good to bad.

We have chosen Alex Storey to act in our thriller, we shall introduce her normal self in the natural makeup look, to show purity of her. We will then show a real contrast in appearance, we will make it look almost supernatural, trying to make her look disturbing to the audience. The aim of this is to show two different sides of her personality, good and evil.

To present how we recreated this look I will take photographs of before and after we did the makeup and also take photographs of the products we used and talk about why we used them and what it demonstrates.
